Wholesale "Work With Your Hands" Block Print Reproduction

"Work With Your Hands" is a 5x7in block print reproduction printed on a deckled edge cream paper (250gsm). The print is signed on the back and comes unframed. I originally created this block print by carving out the image by hand. I rolled a velvet black ink on its surface and pressed the cotton paper against the block to imprint the image (using the back of a wooden spoon!). I titled this print, "Work With Your Hands" after 1 Thessalonians 4:11 where it says, “…aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands…” --- Reflections on Working With Your Hands Work is not meaningless. Work is not something we should try to escape from. It is not just a paycheck or something that we do just to keep the economic machine going. Work is cultivating the earth. Do you know what happened right after God created man in His own image? He blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth…And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.” (Genesis 1:28, 31) God meant work to be a blessing and a high calling. God has entrusted to us His creation and He gives us the honor to care for it.
