About Metalbox

Have you had a crush on Bill Skarsgard since Hemlock Grove? Do you share a shocking number of similarities with Hannibal Lecter? Do you listen to Around the Fur on repeat, for days and days and days on end, because of course you do? Same. All of these things have translated into earrings for me, I guess. I opened Metalbox’s theoretical doors as a SAHM in need of a creative outlet, shortly after my daughter’s first birthday. Now three years later, I'm a homeschooling, work-from-home, single mother, and I'm still making earrings. (Woohoo!) When I’m not making earrings, I can be found making other stuff with my kid (probably throwing glitter and pompoms all over the house), treasure-hunting at HomeGoods, or binging horror movies. My jewelry is lovingly cut, glued, sealed, and assembled by hand in sunny southwest Florida. My favorite pieces are the ones with glitter, in case you were wondering. We frequent horror conventions all around the state of FL, and we've had our pieces signed by Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, and Corpsegrinder, to name a few!
