Since I was a child I’ve loved birds. Probably the only 8-year-old bird watcher of my time. I remember being taken out of school by some of the older women of our church to go hiking and find birds together. Since that time I’ve loved searching the landscape for a new friend. Watching as the soar above mountains and trees or over the ocean waves. While in California my favorite part of the day was watching the Pelicans fly over the waves at sunset and dive headfirst to get the last catch of the day. Grouped together as they make their voyage leaving an air of mystery in their trail. This a print of an original gouache painting by Katie Leigh Jackson (Hutt). Shipped with a backboard, wrapped in a plastic sleeve, and encased in a stiff envelope or box to ensure that it gets safely to your shop.
