Vegetable Marseille soap, handcrafted by an ancient Marseille soap factory. Real Marseille soap has no preservatives or synthetic additives and is composed, at least 72%, of olive, palm or coconut vegetable oil, cooked in ancient cauldrons with natural soda. It is then left to dry for about 20 days in the Mistral wind. Its uses are many, from washing clothes by hand, for delicate floors, including stones and wood, to the use for the treatment of plants as a pesticide, for aphids, cochineals and lice.
