In this book classical Indian and South-east Asian sculptures are juxtaposed with photographs of cut flowers. While the two seem to inhabit different domains, this photographic essay suggests that they meaningfully inform each other when placed side by side: the ancient sculptures come alive with colour while, at the same time, the ephemeral flowers become sculptural and timeless.
