Description
A posh pigeon to charm people! Handcrafted from salvaged materials and my special paper mache mix. This little bird begins with a template/structure made from reclaimed wood or composite metal board, then handmade feet are added to allow it to stand. The work is varnished but not recommended for outdoors and measures 10cm w by 38cm l by 32cm h approximately. Each piece is unique so will vary a little in appearance. Every one is individually sculpted, handpainted and decoupaged with a fun snippet from a magazine. My oversized bird designs make an impact and are complemented by mini versions which are great as gifts. The finished product is varnished and can go outdoors - current tests find them unaffected after one year - extreme heat should be avoided. Ask me about personalisation for your outlet or region - there is space for one or two words on it's body subject to which materials are available at the time.

These look absolutely lovely in my small studio shop, they've been a real talking point with my customers and there was a rush to buy the only seagull I had. I've just put in a second order as my shelves look bare without the birds. Beautifully made, it's so lovely that I can buy genuinely handmade items and it's worth the short wait to get them. :)

Beautifully made with brilliant detailing including the magazine clipping which are brilliantly chosen. Even though the lead time is (understandably quite long for Tania to make the birds for the order she managed to get them to me much quicker which I really appreciated.
