Recently my pastor spoke on John 16 when Jesus told His disciples, “Take heart because I have overcome the world." Yes, in this world we will have trouble, but the difference for us as we stand IN Christ, is we are covered and clothed in His power and righteousness because of what He did on the cross. When our Father looks at us He sees the perfection and holiness of Jesus Christ. Proverbs 31:25 says that we can laugh without fear of the future, and it's true. We can be at peace in the midst of turmoil, because we know that this world can't offer us anything and He has already given us everything. Sincerely, Morgan
