Soft fabric, good product, however, I liked it less for my rats because the inner fabric is thinner and the rats tend to gnaw it quickly and make holes quickly, so it's not to be left in a rat cage, and as a cuddle pouch for rats, it needs to be monitored, but for guinea pigs or rabbits, it's great.
