Giant raw amethyst points sold by weight. These are impressive large amethyst points, remnants of geodes and veins of gigantic crystals that formed thousands of years ago beneath the surface of northeastern Brazil. These mines were newly discovered, and the material being extracted from them is striking for its high quality, intense color, and the large size of the points. The shape of the points is completely natural and only the base has been cut so they can stand upright. Dimensions are given relative to weight: the smallest are about 6 cm tall and the largest can reach about 15 cm tall. The widest pieces have less height. Price is based on the approximate weight, which can vary by about 20 grams more or less. They are sold individually. The photos show a sample of the product.
