Wholesale A Storm in the Valley Art Print

This is one of four pieces I drew while on a trip to the forest. It was right before I opened my larger storefront and so many unknown things were happening. But, I forced myself to sit by the fire and doodle on my iPad – and I was shocked at what happened. The Forest Series was born. Composed of minimal shapes, deep tones and unexpected color combinations, this is a more minimal direction for me. I feel it is a necessary pivot – to make space in my brain (and on the virtual canvas) for whatever's next. While doodling in an easy chair, a storm began to brew. It was pretty unexpected for early September in Wisconsin. The thunder rolled in and sent deep rumbles throughout the valley where our cabin was.
