I wanted something that would collapse for easy travel but be deep enough to hold a lot. They are great bowls to use around the house as well as for snacks and lunches. They collapse down and don't take much room in a cabinet. The rim is designed for your child to be able to easily grab anywhere around the bowl. Their little hands won't slip with the double grips around the rim. It is made from 100% food-grade silicone. It is microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. Easily cleanable with soap and water. We recommend washing with soap prior to first use.
