Description
Our wildflower honey comes from the famous Carrizo Plain open grassland area of east San Luis Obispo County: the wildflower bloom can be seen from space. We have hand-infused this wonderful honey with Habanero, Serrano, and Aleppo chilis in small batches to add tasty heat. The hotness is subtle at first taste and builds slightly to finish with a spicy kick! We love finishing some sautéed rainbow carrots with paprika, GP flake sea salt & this hot honey atop a bed of creamy ricotta. Use anywhere that a bit of sweet heat will enhance the flavor of a dish: drizzle on pizza, fried chicken, roasted vegetables, grilled shrimp, or ribs. Think sweet: ice cream, yogurt, or biscuit, even your tea or a hot toddy! Size: 12.5 oz.
