Cookie cutters are 3D printed at the time of order. They are not made of metal. Our cutter sizes are determined by the larger of the width or height, so a 3” cutter will be either 3” wide OR tall with the other dimension scaled to appear as shown in the main image. Height (cutting depth) is 0.7” regardless of the size selected. Sizes include the outermost edge and are approximate. If you need the cutout to be, for example, 3”, then we recommend ordering a half size up (3.5”). We generally recommend cutters 3 inch and smaller for fondant or décor, 4 inch and above for cookies.
