I scrolled through jewelry and keepsakes—rings, necklaces, anything connected to a birth month—but I couldn’t decide which month to choose. Should it be the month we found out with joy? The month we said goodbye? Or the month we were supposed to meet face-to-face? As an artist, I eventually did what artists often do—I turned to my craft to make sense of the sorrow. I sketched and scribbled, erased and cried. And then it hit me: Why choose just one flower when each month carries meaning? Why not honor all the flowers from Heaven? That’s how the “Flowers from Heaven” remembrance blanket was born—both as a tribute to our little one and as a way to hold space for yours. This blanket was created for the mothers in the miscarriage or child loss “club”—and for those who love someone who’s grieving. It’s a gentle, beautiful way to remember the life that was, and still is, even if only known by God. The design features a soft, light green background, a calming color that allows the flowers to shine gently and brightly. Each birth month flower—January through December—is thoughtfully illustrated in two unique bouquets, forming a repeating pattern across the blanket. You don’t have to choose one flower.
