They are smart, outgoing, highly energetic animals, members of the non-sporting breed group. Scientific Name: Canis lupus familiaris. Characteristics: This Dalmatian figure appears attentive and ready to run, not surprising in a dog famed for its intelligence and energy. It's so lifelike you can almost feel the wet nose. Size and Color: The Dalmatian breed has some of the strictest color standards of all dogs. Dalmatians must always be white with black spots, such as this 3½" long figure.
