Working directly with the mill that makes Germantown, we were able to utilize more than 59,000 pounds of acrylic fiber abandoned in their warehouse. This is fiber that would otherwise have gone to waste or ended up in a landfill. By blending the same wool that is used in Germantown with the deadstock acrylic, we are able to extend the use of the fiber, which in turn, reduces waste and increases supply chain efficiency. • 70% deadstock acrylic, 30% N.
