Our matcha whisk holder is handcrafted from ceramic. The color is a pearly white – a creamy white combined with a gloss finish. The matcha whisk holder (Japanese Chasen Yasume) is used to maintain the shape of the matcha whisk. The shape allows for better air circulation and prevents mold formation on the matcha whisk. Dimensions: ø 6.5 cm, H 7.5 cm USAGE After cleaning the matcha whisk (Chasen), place it on the dry and clean holder to "rest" (Japanese Yasume). No pressure should be applied to the whisk. Carefully remove it from the holder for the next use to avoid breaking the tines. CLEANING Our ceramic is dishwasher safe, but it can also be cleaned by hand with dish soap.
