8"x10" matted print of the Lorraine Motel sign in Memphis, Tennessee Art is printed on matte cardstock and packaged in a clear bag with white backer board. Prints represent original fabric artwork. Before the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. on April 4, 1968, the Lorraine Motel was listed in The Negro Motorist Green Book as a safe haven for black travelers through Memphis. The gray-blue fabric in the background makes this sign stand bright in stormy weather.
