Solar-operated LED light bars are located along each of the 8 ribs. When fully charged, the solar lights will run up to 3-4 hours. To turn them on, simply use the buttons located on the umbrella pole. There are 3 different sections, choose any section to light up, a combination of 2, or have all on at once. The solar panel is located on top of the umbrella that is charged via direct sunlight during daylight hours.
