Sea buckthorn oil is squeezed from the fruit of the sea buckthorn berry. The oil contains palmitoleic acid (omega 7), a rare fatty acid that nourishes and protects the skin. It also contains many other fatty acids and antioxidants that strengthen the skin and protect it against free radical damage. This sea buckthorn oil is 100% cold-pressed and natural. It naturally has a fairly strong scent because the oil has not been deodorized and no perfume has been added. The color is very dark orange and can also leave an orange shine on the skin (which you can wash off). Therefore, it is recommended to dilute sea buckthorn oil with another carrier oil to reduce the color.
