Towarzysze I

This series is inspired by my beloved cat — his quiet presence and tender curiosity that filled my days with joy. Each piece captures his gentle moments: laying in the corner, sneak-peeking from behind furniture, or sitting patiently at the dining table while I ate. Flowers are woven into these cyanotypes as a tribute to the memories of him wandering my workspace, pausing to sniff the blooms as I created art. Through the blue of cyanotype and the softness of pressed flowers, Companions celebrates love, stillness, and the beauty found in simple moments shared with those who walk beside us. Starting with real botanicals that I have harvested, dried, and pressed throughout the seasons; the original cyanotype is hand-made using sunlight, photographic chemicals, and developed in a water bath.
