Over Studio Frits

Studio Frits was created in 2019 in Antwerp, Belgium. After studying illustration, Gert moved to France for 7 years where he ended up in an international group of artists living in the hills of the Morvan region. When he came back to Belgium, bringing his cat, named "Frits" he opened his studio and graphic art gallery in the heart of Antwerp. Gert's illustration are often colorful, and inspired by both nature and urban landscapes and local heritage. They use a combination of graphic and organic shapes and textures, often put together by digital collage. All illustrations, cards and other stationary are printed in small quantities.
