About Marie Marie

Marie was founded in 2022 by Marthe de Groot. Based on the belief that fashion can be used as a force for something good. At MARIE we do that by connecting women through the craft of crochet. All our bags are made by our very own crochet club. A growing on- and offline community where individuals of all levels of society meet. Our bags aren’t made by anonymous machines, but by an inspiring community of women that are at the heart of our brand. Women that deserve a face, a name and that we like to put on a pedestal. All our items are made by hand with love and eye for detail. We use a crocheting technique that can’t be automatized, thus putting forward an age old craft.
