Beasley maakt op wielen gegooid gebruiksaardewerk dat bedoeld is voor dagelijks gebruik. Hij maakt ook unieke keramische sculpturen. Beasley heeft een Master of Fine Art-diploma behaald aan de East Carolina University en is momenteel een voltijdse, zelfstandige keramiekkunstenaar die werkt vanuit zijn thuisstudio in Charlotte, NC. Brett heeft professionele topartiesten zoals Ayumi Horie, Justin Rothshank, Steve Loucks en Lynnette Hesser bijgestaan op verschillende nationaal erkende ambachtsscholen. Hij is sinds 2011 actief lid van de National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) en neemt deel aan de jaarlijkse conferentie. Beasley exposeert zijn kunstwerken op zowel nationaal als regionaal niveau. Hoewel kunst het gekozen beroep is, is vissen zijn voornaamste passie.
