Great for crafting or DIY Cutting Boards Beautiful characteristic black walnut live edge slab boards, perfect for charcuterie boards, river tables, and much more. All boards are kiln dried, planed and are ready to be sanded and finished. These boards are sold in size ranges, ranging from small to large with different lengths. All boards are around 3/4th of an inch thick or greater! We can accommodate requests for certain widths or lengths as our scrap varies at all times. Total number of pieces will vary in each box due to width and length variances. These wood scraps are perfect for any crafter. They will inspire you to make a variety of projects.

The black walnut slabs were priced a little higher than I can find elsewhere but worth it as they state "All boards are kiln dried, planed and are ready to be sanded and finished." They were planed quite well (not necessarily flattened but they didn't make that claim.) The quality of the wood was disappointing. A large amount of worm holes, which can be expected but the HUGE tunneling make it worthless. It limits what can be made with half the material thickness gone due to tunneling.
