About Dondertje

Hey! I'm Jamie, born and raised in the picturesque Oudewater, near Utrecht. After working for ten years as a fashion designer for various well-known fashion brands in the Netherlands, I decided to follow my heart and forge my own path. In November, I took an exciting step: realizing my own dream — a children's clothing brand called Dondertje. Dondertje was born out of a personal need. As the mother of my brave daughter Evy, I noticed how difficult it was to find clothing that is bold and quirky for girls. That had to change! That's why I lovingly design clothes that fit children as they are and can also be worn unisex. Think of comfortable cotton sweaters and cool denim pants that fit well. In addition to my own designs, I carefully select purchased items that perfectly match the style of Dondertje. My mission? To make children shine in outfits, just as I do with my own daughter.
