About Bazar Atelier Sablon

We launched in April 2020, Bazar Atelier Sablon, a 100% French brand of sewing accessories, reviving fabrics from our French heritage through a bucolic universe. Our products with unique patterns, rich in history, take on the challenge of being made in our French workshops; with the signature piece, the Jouy de Fruits, a city tote that combines practicality and aesthetics. The brand is now present in about ten stores in France, Italy, Switzerland, the United States, Taiwan, and Japan, promoting French craftsmanship. Hortense took up sewing during the first lockdown to occupy her days and quickly became passionate about this activity. She designs and makes all the prototypes by hand in Paris. After several experiences in major French luxury houses, she developed a sensitivity for upholstery fabrics and transformed them into practical accessories. Cradled by Toile de Jouy during her early childhood, Hortense draws her inspiration from the History of France, the Home, and Parisian life.Read their story
