Eight Tees è stato creato nel 2016 da Chidem Mokan. I suoi pezzi base sono sempre stati jeans e t-shirt nella sua vita quotidiana, tuttavia non è riuscita a trovare stili abbastanza unici sul mercato. Il numero OTTO è il suo numero fortunato e la sua data di nascita negli anni '80, quindi trovare il marchio è stato facile. Chidem voleva avere le basi ma non le basi. Con piccoli ritocchi nei disegni e forme non aderenti nelle silhouette, è riuscita a trovare il suo stile. Otto utilizzano sempre tessuti di cotone turco della migliore qualità e sono fabbricati in strutture certificate biologiche. Ciò significa che anche se i prodotti potrebbero non essere biologici, le strutture sono in perfetto standard dall'inizio alla fine. Chidem si preoccupa molto anche delle condizioni di lavoro sane e ha ottimi rapporti con il team degli impianti di produzione.
