Product Information WASHING INSTRUCTIONS Follow the washing instructions below only if you have a medicinal, health, or BabyCare sheepskin! Only wash your sheepskin if it is necessary. With each wash, you wash lanolin out of the fleece. The lanolin is what gives the sheepskins all those good properties. 1. Preferably wash the sheepskin by hand in cold water at a maximum of 30°C. If you prefer to use the washing machine, set it to the wool wash program and/or a temperature of no more than 30°C. 2. You can optionally use a very small amount of wool detergent. Use as little as possible! Adding detergent washes the lanolin out of the wool faster. Therefore, we recommend "Van Buren Wool Detergent with Lanolin." This wool detergent has natural lanolin added, so the wool remains greasy and thus retains the good properties of a natural sheepskin for longer.
