The Filesi family cultivates in Vasanello, following organic guidelines, the native variety of the Tuscia region, the Tonda Gentile Romana hazelnut, which is the most widespread on the hilly areas of Lazio, especially concentrated in the Monti Cimini area in the province of Viterbo. The fruit is large and round with light-colored flesh and an intense aroma. Once harvested, the hazelnuts are cleaned and sorted in company facilities equipped with drying, roasting, and packaging lines in MAP or vacuum-sealed. The organic natural shelled hazelnuts are simply dried and shelled to preserve the natural taste of the Tonda Gentile Romana hazelnut. Available in sizes of 250 g (MAP packaging in 100% recyclable paper), 500 g (vacuum-sealed), 1 kg (vacuum-sealed), and 5 kg (vacuum-sealed).
