FROM THE CRIÉE TO YOUR HOME The vibrant wool textile used for the RIHANA series was handpicked during one of my sourcing days at the criée berbère — the traditional auction where vintage rugs and blankets from all over Morocco arrive daily. Once I’ve selected a promising piece, I decide on the ideal size and composition for the future cushions. Our maâlem (master artisan) then comes to collect the material. Together, we go over the design plans, layout, and details. A few days later, he returns with the finished pieces — and we check each cushion for quality, craftsmanship, and character before it joins the collection. A thoughtful transformation from vintage textile to soulful accent — made with care, tradition, and a lot of love.
