100% pure and natural essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops of Lavandula latifolia. Spike lavender, or wild lavender, is a cousin of true lavender. This plant grows abundantly in the wild at altitudes of less than seven hundred meters and thrives in the scrubland of southern Europe and calcareous soils. It features pale purple flowers arranged in loose spikes at the top of long stems, which distinguishes it from true lavender. Although its scent is less sought after by perfumers, it remains an essential oil indispensable in aromatherapy. Always use the essential oil diluted in a vegetable oil or another suitable carrier. Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, in children under 6 years old (ketones, always diluted), or in individuals with asthma, epilepsy, or allergies to any of its components.
