100% pure and natural essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops of Origanum compactum. The essential oil of Oregano (also called "Wild Marjoram") extracted from the compact and purple-pink flowering tops, recalls the scent of thyme and fresh grass. Native to the Mediterranean region (France, Morocco, Spain) where it grows naturally, compact Oregano is different from garden Marjoram, which originates from Asia. From the Greek "Oros": mountain and "Ganos": joy, its name means "adornment of the mountains" because it wonderfully embellishes the dry slopes of mountainous hillsides.
