It's the same variety as our Oregano Bouquets but comes in a more compact, pre-ground format, making it an absolute staple that shouldn’t be missed, even for the most minimal pantry! Greece happens to be where some of the most praised varieties of oregano thrive. In fact, July and August are the months when you’ll find locals harvesting and drying oregano throughout Greece’s mountainous villages. A ritual that has been passed down from generation to generation as a way to have a supply of oregano all year round. Its versatility means it can be incorporated into countless Mediterranean recipes including seafood, tomato-based sauces and vegetable dishes, and its antibacterial properties make it an excellent ingredient for marinades. Another way we love to enjoy our ground oregano is to crumble some loose-leaf on our salads and feta right before serving.
