To create our range of espadrilles, we are happy to support the workshop and social enterprise Amboh Espadrilles. Durable and sturdy espadrilles You tell us from the great feedback you give us: the average lifespan of our espadrilles is three seasons. * The espadrille sole is made of braided jute for perfect comfort. Jute is a reed whose fiber, once dried, becomes very flexible and can be made into a rope. Jute also has the advantage of being hypoallergenic, allowing you to wear espadrilles barefoot. It is also eco-friendly as it requires no treatment and is natural. * A layer of non-slip rubber is added: it extends the lifespan of the espadrille and makes it a city walking shoe. * All fabrics used are 100% cotton and lined for optimal resistance: they come from the Phnom Penh market for the interior lining. The Krama Pop we use for our Krama espadrilles are entirely handwoven. * The assembly of our espadrilles is entirely handmade for a solid structure: the visible stitching, a signature of our espadrilles, is the product of patience and the dexterity of an expert hand. * Receive your pair of espadrilles in their large natural palm leaf case, entirely handwoven ethically and fairly in our Palm Leaf workshop. Ethical and supportive espadrilles * Two teams of artisans at Amboh Espadrilles are mobilized for the production of each pair, which takes about an hour and a half of work. * One scarf, One skill: Krama Pop entirely handwoven in the pure Cambodian tradition. You support a team of 7 weavers in the Takeo province working under ethical and fair conditions. * One scarf, One smile: for each pair of espadrilles ordered, we fund 4 hours of teaching at the remedial school of Pour un Sourire d'Enfant in Phnom Penh. And how does size selection and delivery work? * Our espadrilles are available in sizes 35 to 45. Choose your pair in your size: if you are a size 41, of course, take a 41. If you have a half size, round down: if you are a 41.5, take a 41.
