Sodium percarbonate, also known as solid hydrogen peroxide, is a traditional laundry stain remover and whitener. It is composed of hydrogen peroxide and soda, which are released in water at 40°C. A powerful cleaner and degreaser, percarbonate is also a multi-purpose maintenance product. Without chlorine or optical brighteners, it is made from raw materials: water, salt, chalk.
