Our pomegranate molasses is made solely from pomegranate juice cooked in a cauldron and reduced for hours. Thanks to this ancestral process, the pomegranate molasses obtains a red, burgundy, brown color. The pomegranate molasses develops tangy notes, reminiscent of a concentrate of tangy black cherries. The molasses is therefore prepared without any added sugar, coloring, thickener, or preservative. It is exclusively women who make this molasses for their personal consumption, then they sell their surplus directly. That is why, this year, we were only able to purchase 70 liters. The mix of different pomegranates and the more or less rapid cooking technique allows for molasses that is more or less acidic/sweet. It is a skill. Jar of: 215 ml.
