Josephine Bernaud crafted her exquisite cookies, reminiscing about her native Bordeaux, using ingredients from her adopted land in Haro (Logroño). There, in 1926, she opened her Tea Room, which became a meeting point for travelers on the Haro-Bordeaux route.
