About Vasilis och Sigrid

Our own olive oil comes from the family's olive groves around Chania in western Crete. These are plantations that are scattered between the villages of Ligides and Perivolia. Some trees are left over from the time of Grandfather's and great-grandfather's mother. We grow without poison and fertilizing, and the oil is prepared solely by mechanical pressing, cold pressing. This means that the olive oil is prepared without chemicals and heating. This preserves the greatest possible taste, fragrance and nutrients, and of course we avoid chemical residues.Read their story
