What is Jesmonite? It is a component used in the production of decorative resin objects. This component consists of two main ingredients: an aqueous acrylic liquid and a mineral base composed of gypsum (also called gypsum stone). To obtain the preparation that will allow you to create your objects, you will have to mix the liquid and the mineral base together according to the doses obtained. Once well mixed, the mixture should look like a thick paste that is easy to pour. Jesmonite will allow you to make solid fabrications thanks to molding. Ideal for creating outdoor decorative objects (columns, statues, flower pots, etc.), this component is also suitable for making objects of smaller sizes. Using silicone or polystyrene molds, you can easily design soap dishes, storage boxes, coasters or paperweights.
