matabooks® ist ein kleiner unabhängiger Verlag aus Dresden, der vegane Printprodukte aus nachhaltigem Graspapier (und/oder Süßgraspapier) produziert — dazu gehören u. a. Notizbücher, Jahresplaner, Bürobedarf und mehr. Seit der Gründung 2018 legt das junge Unternehmen großen Wert auf eine ressourcenschonende und umweltfreundliche Herstellung. Darüber hinaus werden keine Materialien mit tierischen Bestandteilen verwendet. Als der erste V-Label-Zertifizierte vegane Verlag Deutschlands mit preisgekrönten Büchern revolutioniert matabooks die Buchbranche und schafft ein Novum. Zusätzlich forscht matabooks im Bereich der Werkstofftechnik an Verfahren, die die Buchproduktion künftig in eine umweltfreundliche Richtung führen Sollen.
