Born in Leamington Spa in 1875, Aleister Crowley was an only child who had a great deal of attention lavished on him by his parents. His father was born a Quaker, but converted to the Exclusive Brethren a subsection of the Plymouth Brethren, so religion played a big part in his early life. Sadly, his father died when he was only 11 and it seemed to send the boy off in a new direction. Crowley embarked on a lifelong investigation into the dark arts, turning himself into a cult figure who defied convention and is still famous in the modern world. I ordered 3 types of decks - multiples of each. Should be quick to fill but it was over 2 weeks for it to be shipped. Must be a very busy shop. The Tarot isn't sealed with plastic wrap but with stickers, so that makes it harder to retail them as so many knock off decks from China come that way. We'll see if they sell...
