The 30% bone ash helps enable thin, walled pieces to be made with a more delicate appearance and translucency compared to porcelain, and allowing for greater chip resistance and durability. Fine bone china is thinner and lighter in weight than porcelain. It is a three-firing process in which the decal with Charlotte’s motif is fused with the varnish in the third firing. Made in Germany.
