No cushioning as described. Far too tight in the rib to be suited for diabetics - which the term "medical" more than implies. Good width in the foot and no seams. The material is thin, rather hard and cheap. Unfortunately all have been priced in our shop hence they cannot be returned. We cannot defend selling these socks as "medical" which is why we have decided to donate them.

The selection of compression socks we have bought all deserve four stars for their functionality but gets only three stars due to the doubt about being 100% cotton. We have difficulties explaining the labelling "100% cotton" to the customers who doubt the elastic effect of pure cotton (as do we). We have tried and washed a sock in red and white stripe design. It delivers mild to medium compression. Widens a bit after wear, reshapes after wash. Held the colours nicely in 40°C wash.
