We have worked for years to be able to manufacture this product in Europe. A machine was set up especially for this purpose, which is used exclusively for our production. After hundreds of hours of work, co-operation with various partners and 47 tested material mixtures, we are now proud of the solution we have achieved. Certification - Blue Angel These recycled dog waste bags are certified with the Blue Angel. They fulfil the strict requirements of the ‘DE-UZ 30a’ award criteria. This allows them to bear the internationally recognised and one of the most demanding environmental labels in the world. The Blue Angel, which has been the German government's eco-label for over 45 years, provides guidance when shopping and identifies products that are more eco-friendly than other products of the same use. At least 80 % post-consumer waste (PE) These dog waste bags consist of at least 80 % post-consumer recyclate (PE), i.e. plastic that has already been used, including plastic packaging from household recycling collections. This conserves resources, as no new crude oil has to be extracted for the starting material and because significantly less CO₂ is produced when recycling PE compared to the production of new granulate. The bags are produced in the same film thickness (15 micrometres) as conventional bags made from virgin pellets, which is remarkable given the difficulty of processing post-consumer recyclate. In this way, we avoid unnecessary material waste and conserve valuable resources. Quality and handling Our recycled poop bags not only impress with their eco-friendly design, but also with their outstanding quality: • Excellent handling: the sticker is easy to remove and the excellent tear-off perforation makes it effortless to separate the bags from the roll. The feel of the film is pleasant. • Safe to use: With a thickness of 15 micrometres, the bags are leak-proof, stretchy and tear-resistant. • Space-saving: The bags are wound tightly on the roll and fit into almost any jacket pocket and many dispensers. Packaging from sustainable forestry The packaging (boxes) used for our recycled poop bags are all made from FSC-certified material. The core of the roll and the sticker that holds the small rolls together are made of cardboard or paper.
