About The Garlic Box

The family-run business, owned and operated by Jackie and Jim Rowe, began with a one-acre plot in 1997 and a vision to introduce the finest locally grown garlic to Ontario kitchens. The Garlic Box is Canada's leading producer of premium Ontario-grown garlic food products, from fresh garlic bulbs to individually quick-frozen peeled cloves and fully prepared gourmet garlic preserves, sauces and salad dressings, condiments, seasonings and soups. Fresh garlic bulbs from the first harvests were originally collected in repurposed apple boxes, prompting Jackie to coin the company name, “The Garlic Box,” in 1998.
