In the 19th century, the former Poitou-Charentes region was one of the main French mustard-producing territories. For more than 20 years, La Moutarderie Confiserie has wanted to perpetuate a local historical tradition around this condiment by imagining its own mustards. Then the company developed its artisanal know-how by creating caramels and many jams. Our tasty recipes are made in our workshops with, as soon as they are available, quality local raw materials, such as PDO Charentes Poitou-Charentes butter, honey from the Marais Poitevin, Espelette pepper, Cognac, Pineau des Charentes... La Moutarderie Confiserie is a family and artisanal business composed of 5 employees, located in the small village of Gourvillette, cradle of gastronomy, not far from Cognac. Read their story
