About stace of spades

I’m Stacey Combs, AKA stace of spades, a freelance illustrator & surface designer living in South Minneapolis. I participate in many art fairs, markets, and conventions, and have been on the scene since 2016. The more I art that I make, the more I want to make (functional) art that I would've coveted as a kid. I've always loved stationery, decorating notes, and organizing. Writing people letters and giving gifts are really special things. So is making art that inspires creativity in kids- whether they're young or just young-at-heart! I’m a firm believer that art should be for everyone. My favorite things to create are patterns / motifs and real cute childrens illustrations. I have a one-year-old daughter, and now create everything in hopes that it will make her smile. I try to have fun with it all, and I hope others do, too!
