Hey! I'm Genevieve (Gen for Short), a Canadian Freelance Artist located in Ottawa, Ontario. As a lifelong crafter, creator, and learner I utilize several mediums in my work such as graphic design, photography, surface pattern design, traditional painting mediums, digital painting, and more. I have far too many passions and love to experiment, try new things, & play with bold color combinations. My influences are as broad as her mediums, taking inspiration from the natural world and built structures, history and culture, her Canadian home and her travels, pop culture, hobbies, and upcoming trends. I create unique designs focused on emotions and self-expression utilizing a variety of techniques and mediums. My goal as an artist is to create distinctive, recognizable designs that resonate with people and provide them on a variety of items that lovers of art can use to decorate their home and their everyday lives.
