About The Jackabee Candle Company

Jackabee Candle Co. started in 2021 in a one-bedroom apartment in Acworth, GA — a hobby that became a side gig, then a full-time business, then something bigger than we ever planned. We're Lee and Lizzie Decker. And yes — a Jackabee is a cross between a Jack Russell and a Beagle. Our dog Yonah is one, and we got her from a rescue family in Alabama. What does that have to do with candles? Absolutely nothing. We just really love our dog. Our studio is now in Downtown Woodstock, GA inside Made Mercantile — a Maker Cooperative sponsored by the City of Woodstock and the Cherokee Office of Economic Development. Every wholesale order is poured fresh to order in that studio. No sitting inventory, no shortcuts — just clean-burning soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and small-batch craftsmanship in every jar. We've done markets from Brooklyn to a Christkindl market in Roswell, GA. We've built our brand one boutique at a time. Our candles are free from phthalates, mutagens, known carcinogens, and Proposition 65 ingredients. Our dream is to open our own retail shop with a candle bar and coffee component someday.
